Looking for a used bike in Brussels?
In Brussels, there are several ways to find a second-hand bike: in addition to the list below, you can also have a look at our interactive map of existing bike services in Brussels. Before going through them one by one, here are a few important points to check before buying the bike of your dreams:
- Usage: Is this bike the right size? What will it be used for?
- General condition: Are the frame and fork in good condition? Are there any cracks or creases? These can be dangerous for your safety and very costly to repair.
- Potential costs: Will there be any major or minor repair costs? Have I also budgeted for the purchase of a (quality) padlock?
- After the sale: Can I go back to the original seller if there are any problems?
Here's also a video from the old days. Everything taken into account? Let's roll! Because hey, the longer a bike rides, the more sustainable it gets!
